Moms2tri and 50+ groups starting…

Triathlon is trendy, versatile and a rapidly growing sport for all ages across the globe! If you think you missed the boat in regards to your age, then keep reading!

Embark’s Moms2Tri and 50+ program is designed to help our moms and 50 plus’ers get into multisport over the winter months and into summer. This isn’t just for new moms, or only over 50’s, but all people looking to get fit in a fun and safe environment during conventional ‘working’ hours. We guarantee an action packed session to get your fitness back in time for summer.

As the week’s progress and the fitness increases we will start to introduce the wonderful world of triathlon to the moms and 50+. We have planned a safe and gradual schedule slowly initiating the swim and outdoor cycling through a series of workshops and controlled workouts.

The Cape Town sessions will be facilitated by our qualified instructor and trainer, Tracy Wiehahn. Our triathlon coach, STeve Attwell will watch over the progression of the groups. We will be incorporating sessions with our resident physio and sport scientist, Genine Manchip and she will a close eye on keeping the newbies injury free. The Cape Town group training and classes cost R699/month and this includes an online training program (that can be personalised) with additional workouts.

Our program starts with an orientation session on Tuesday 1 August, 10am at Green Point Cricket Club. We will go through everything that is expected, required and anticipated to finish your first triathlon or just to get back into sport in an un-intimidating and non-competitive environment. We will settle your nerves and show you that just starting is best way to get into the sport! Our sessions will be Tues/Wed/Thurs 10-11am.
