PLEASE NOTE: we are at complete mercy of what the rand is going to do, therefore the PRICE OF THIS PACKAGE MAY FLUCTUATE.

Travel Insurance

It is strongly advised that you take out travel insurance. Travelbug and Embark will not be held liable for any injuries. Travelbug will also not be held liable for any delays caused by airlines or transfer companies.

Please let me know if you would like me to assist with your travel insurance. I know that some credit card companies provide travel insurance when you pay with credit card, please take careful note of the amounts you are covered for. These are generally minimal and not necessarily enough cover that you may require.

Re: Changes to the itinerary

I will deal with all changes after 6 March 2016. We will book according to this package, once confirmed entries and flights, I will see to those that require changes and additions. I am happy to assist you with approximate flight quotes but nothing can be quoted effectively until we have deposits paid for flights. Which is happening after deposits are paid.

I am not promising that changes are do-able, but will try my best to accommodate you where I can.

Visa requirements for Croatia

Pursuant to the Government’s decision, starting with 1st January 2014 until the Republic of Croatia fully applies the provisions of the Schengen agreement, all aliens holders of valid Schengen document do not require an additional (Croatian) visa for entry and short-term stay in Croatia.

I will happily assist the group with the application. Please note that these costs are not included the package.

Allowance into Croatia

Depending on how we fly, currently we are with Turkish but this may change. If we fly with Turkish the first rule applies, if we fly from outside EU the second rule applies.

If you are travelling from within the EU, there is no limit on the amount or value of goods you may import, providing your goods are for personal consumption. Goods imported for commercial purposes are subject to duty and the following guideline amounts are in place to determine whether this is the case:
• 800 cigarettes or 400 cigarillos or 200 cigars or 1kg of tobacco.
• 10L of spirits over 22%, 20L of alcoholic beverages less than 22%, 90L of wine (no more than 60L of sparkling wine) and 110L of beer.
If you are arriving from a non-EU country, the following goods may be imported into Croatia by persons over 17 years of age without incurring customs duty:
• 200 cigarettes or 100 cigarillos or 50 cigars or 250g of tobacco.
• 4L of wine and 16L of beer and 1L of spirits over 22% or 2L of alcoholic beverages less than 22%.
• Other goods up to the value of Kn3,200 for air and sea travellers and Kn2,200 for other travellers (reduced to Kn1,100 for children under 15).
