Run the Mauritius half or full marathon with Embark…

Considering training and running a marathon this year? Or want a break from the Knysna Oyster Festival this year, but still want to run a stunning half or full marathon in July?

Embark is going on TOUR this winter! We are heading to MAURITIUS  mid-July for the Mauritius Marathon and Half Marathon, aptly considered the most beautiful running! Coupled with this is 13 weeks of structured coached group training in preparation for the chosen distance. (But don’t worry, we are still doing the annual group training for Knysna half and full marathon too).

The tour is a week’s stay in the beautiful 4 star,  Villas Caroline A enchanting hotel merely steps from the water’s edge at this elegant spot surrounded by the turquois west coast. Run  the race and then relax for the week on this idyllic island with dramatic sunset views and long stretch of the finest white sands, this tropical sanctuary has the perfect setting to spend a fascinating holiday in Mauritius. Leaving on 16th July and returning on 23rd July flying directly from Cape Town. The price R22 000 incl VAT sharing and is fully inclusive (meals, drinks, transfers, race entry and transfers to and from race). The training is not included in this price, the cost of the training is R750 for current Embark members, R1000 for new members if you pay upfront, and R1200 if you pay over 3 months. If you join with a friend its R850 each.

Booking process:

Let us know you are keen so that we can reserve your seat at this price. We will need your passport number to secure your seat. With the fluctuating Rand we have a limited time at this price, so reserve your seat ASAP. We will then make the reservation, and once it is all confirmed, we will email you a Proforma confirmation. The Proforma confirmation will give you the details of the booking and the payment requirements.  You would need to pay a 50% deposit and the balance between 8 to 10 weeks prior to travel.
