The Embark athletes count down to Ironman South Africa…

On Sunday 29th March, the Embark Ironman athletes will be put to the ultimate endurance test! 3.8km swim, 180kms bike, 42.2km run. This is ironman South Africa 2015. Best of luck to all our athletes.

We are confident that our athletes will return home with the medal, as they have been following a strict routine of endurance based ironman training. We have a large number competing, and these athletes have been spread across the various Embark branches with our various coaches. Often the groups would all swim together or meet up along the ride routes ensuring the groups were kept social and fun, but always with the ultimate goal in mind and the sacrifices required to get there. Early mornings, long weekends and quite often double sessions on days. But all this effort will be well rewarded when you hear Paul Kaye announce that you are an IRONMAN!!!

Best of luck to all our athletes, and a big thanks to all the efforts of our ironman coaches. Look out for the Embark gazebo on the run route!!

Our training for Ironman Durban 70.3 starts 3 May, and our training for Ironman 70.3 East London begins 2 Aug. Check out the group training page for the list of all the programs or contact us through the contact page.
