Embark finishes first DC with full team…

Last Saturday the Embark Triatletes completed the Coronation Double Century. Its a 202km team ride, with over 3000m of climbing. The idea is to start with 12 riders but you have to finish with 6 riders as a minimum. Our Embark team rode as a team the whole way and finished the ride with all 12 riders.

Most of the team are the athletes going on to do the Ironman in April next year in PE, (after 70.3 half ironman in Jan) so this ride was a great confidence boost for everyone. Luckily the evil coach didnt make the athletes run of this bike today!!

For those Embark athletes that didnt take part in DC, they also had a big weekend doing a long ride and a long run back to back, this after the sea swim at clifton 4th. We are just 2 months away from our big day now!!
