20 weeks down!!

So, with just the Jail Break triathlon to go this weekend, we draw to the end of week 20, and the end of the 5th block of training. Its  been a tough 3 weeks of training, lots of brick sessions, lots of strength work on the bike and even more sea and open water swimming. The group has come on a longer wat over the 3 weeks and I am seeing lots more confidence in the water. We are swimming regulaly on Thursday evening at Clifton 4th beach, practising entering and exiting the surf and getting used to the motion of the sea. We also did a tube changing practise for those unsure of how to do it, another vital skill to learn in the unfortuante circumstance of puncturing during a race. So good luck to everyone racing this weekend at Jail Break. Keep and eye on the site for the results! GO FOR IT!!
