Rest week at last! But this didnt mean complete rest. We just dropped the long stuff and added a few morning lie ins. But on Wednesday night we assended on the Sea Point Pavillion to do our 800m swim, followed by a 5km fast run to the lighthouse in Mouille Point and back. The transition is a very important part of triathlon and you can gain valuable minutes by just practising this. The aquathon gives a real feeling of competing! Its also great to see the swimmers vs the runners in a short session like this. Thanks to STeve for being the wetsuit guard and looking after the stuff. Open water swim practice on Friday morning, and then the West Coast Classic 85km PPA fun ride on Sunday morning. See you there. (Thanks to Radesh for the pics this week, Radesh unfortuantly is out of the program as he has to lay of running and biking for a bit, but he still comes along to support Sofie and his photo skills are incredible!)
