Tri specific Boot Camp Friday 19th Aug

This morning we had our second triathlon specific boot camp on the promenade.  We met at 6am and by 7am we had done roughly:

70 press ups : inclined, declined and normal
100 sit ups and 2 mins of planking
50 burpees
5kms of running, skipping and hopping
3 mins of tricep dips
100 low rail skips
1 min water break!

The tri specific boot camp is a fun and focused upper and lower body work out, designed to get you working all the relevant muscles for triathlon. It was great to hear the feedback from the Embarkers last week, and hear about the muscles in their bodies that they felt the most after the workout and days following that.

Next session: our long ride tomorrow morning, 8am, its 3 hours long followed by a 15min run directly after the ride. Weather is looking good!
